According to Marion Beckett, the influx of yet more 'EU' migrants will be of benefit to the UK. See the full report on the BBC website.

Walking around Newcastle at times, it sound like we are living in a foreign country. I was barged into the other day, and, being British, apologised even though I wasn't in the wrong. In return I had what can only be described as an angry torrent of words from the other person. I'm assuming that I was being told off, but as the words were in a foreign language, I am unable to tell you what the person said!
I have no objection to legitimate asylum seekers, but when people flock in to our country simply for the welfare state benefits they get, then I do object.
In 2004 when the last accession countries joined the EU, our government was one of the few who allowed residents of those countries immediate access; most other countries accepted the interim measures which prevents access for 7 years. Why are we so lenient?
IS IT BECAUSE, UNLIKE FRANCE AND GERMANY, OUR GOVERNMENT DOESN'T FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS?
